The NFL published the top-25 performance-based pay distributions for 2023, with three Buffalo Bills on the list.

The list includes offensive tackle Spencer Brown, guard O’Cyrus Torrence, and linebacker Terrel Bernard. Performance-based pay is given to NFL players who play a high number of snaps yet earn a modest salary. All three players are still on their rookie contracts.

Brown, Buffalo’s starting right tackle, started all 17 games for the Bills last year. He finished third on the list and was awarded $912,723 for 2023.

O’Cyrus Torrence, Buffalo’s second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, started all 17 games at right guard for the Bills and did not miss a single play this season. Torrence was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team for his performance in 2023. The guard ranked eighth on the performance-based compensation list, with a distribution of $847,180.

Bernard, Buffalo’s starting linebacker, has started 17 games this season. The second-year linebacker had a career season, racking up 143 total tackles (10 TFL), 6.5 sacks, nine quarterback hits, three fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and five passes defended. He finished 17th on the list and received $777,092.
