After playing some mediocre football in the first half of the season, the Buffalo Bills were able to turn it on during the second half of the 2023 NFL regular season.

With the Bills playing at full capacity and projecting themselves as an AFC title contender once more, superstar quarterback Josh Allen put things into high gear and emerged as a genuine candidate for the NFL MVP award.

Sadly, Buffalo was unable to overcome the Kansas City Chiefs and move on to the AFC Championship Game when they faced them again in the NFL playoffs, even though they were playing at home at Highmark Stadium.

It’s obvious that the team needs to make some adjustments during the summer. According to FOX Sports’ Nick Wright, the Bills should prioritize improving Buffalo’s passing game.

Wright stated that the Bills “need to have a top-three passing attack to be contenders.” That is their greatest asset. Josh Allen is what sets them apart.

Unfortunately, with wide receiver Gabe Davis heading for NFL free agency and the team perhaps parting ways with star wideout Stefon Diggs, Buffalo may be in for some significant changes in the near future, which may not be a move in the right direction at first.

But there is a ton of collegiate talent available in the forthcoming 2024 NFL Draft, so teams like the Bills might add a rookie wideout or two to bolster their receiving group.
