A contemporary WWE star has impressed in recent months, and Randy Orton has insisted that he has a bright future ahead of him.
After missing eighteen months due to injury, Randy Orton made his Survivor Series comeback in November. He teamed up with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins to defeat Drew McIntyre and The Judgement Day.
In the WWE, Judgement Day is a stable that is becoming more and more well-known. Recently, their storyline involving R. Truth has garnered praise.
Dominik Mysterio, who turned on his father Rey Mysterio and turned heel in the process, is one of the group’s members. He joined in 2022.
Mysterio, who is still only 26 years old, was thrust into the deep end of the organization, with things moving somewhat slowly until he aligned with The Judgement Day at Summer Slam 16 months ago. And Orton has backed his recent opponent to the finish line in an interview with “The Bump.”
Meanwhile, Orton has acknowledged that the preparations for his November return disappointed him a little.
Plans for him to participate in the War Games match were revealed a week in advance, thus the element of surprise was effectively ruined. Instead, fans were shocked by the return of CM Punk at the end of the evening.
“Interesting little side note: a month ago, there were rumors circulating that I was returning, along with rumors regarding CM Punk,” Orton remarked. It wasn’t a surprise to anyone that it was me because they announced it a week in advance.
I felt as though I had let a little wind out of my sails because, after a year and a half away, everyone had been waiting for my return.
I can tell that I’ve grown up a lot. After everything was said and done, I realized that nobody had stepped on anyone’s toes and that it had just been a really fun night for the fans. Part of me wanted to be angry that this was taken away from me—the response from the crowd that I had been looking forward to for eighteen months. However, when I’m all set to go after 18 months, they say, “No, we’re going to announce your return,” but you never know in this place.
