The second major tournament of the golf season is about to begin, with the 2024 PGA tournament slated to begin on Thursday, May 15, at Louisville, Kentucky’s renowned Valhalla Golf Club.

 

Nobody should be surprised that, according to BetMGM, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the clear favorite to win at +450. The recent father of five has won four of his previous five outings and placed second in the tournament, albeit he did not receive the biggest salary.

Prior to settling for a tie for second at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, Scheffler had won back-to-back starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill and The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

Following Scheffler and McIlroy, who are the only two players in the field at Valhalla with odds greater than +1000 entering the first round, Xander Schauffele (+1400), defending winner Brooks Koepka (+1600), and Ludvig Aberg (+1800) complete the top five.

How to Watch the 2024 PGA Championship.

The 2024 PGA Championship will be aired on television by ESPN and CBS, with streaming provided by ESPN+ and Paramount+, as was the case at The Masters.

Over the course of the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, ESPN+ and ESPN will provide 15 hours of coverage. Additionally, they will handle early coverage on Saturday and Sunday. The main coverage of the third and fourth rounds will be provided by CBS.
