Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United is uncertain going into the summer transfer window.

Manchester United could be forced to pay Marcus Rashford in the event he leaves the club this summer.

Rashford’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain after a hugely disappointing campaign where he has scored just eight goals in all categories.

United are sixth in the Premier League under Erik ten Hag and do not look likely to be playing in next season’s Champions League.

Mass changes are expected under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS in the summer, with one recent report claiming that nearly the whole of their squad is available for transfer.
Though there was once a time when he was seen as dispensable, it’s claimed that United would “genuinely consider bids” for Rashford.

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the England international, who has been touted as a possible Kylian Mbappe replacement.

A fresh story from The Sun claims he is valued at around £80 million, a sum that would be extremely appealing to United.

However, it’s also added that Rashford is not looking to leave United in the summer and will fight any attempts from his employers to offload him.

Rashford signed a new deal until 2028 at the end of a stellar 2022–23 season, and his wages of £325,000 could be a stumbling block.
It’s stated that United would therefore be in a situation where they would have to give Rashford a big pay-off if he was to move on.

Rashford was booed off by some fans in the FA Cup semi-final penalty shoot-out win against Coventry, who were’startled’ by how poor he was.

He’s been hurt for United’s last two Premier League games, and there is no word as to whether he will be fit for the upcoming trip to Crystal Palace.

The United Academy product recently reacted to criticism he has received this season.
Quoting a post from a fan account on X, Rashford wrote: “I appreciate your support! It is torture and has been for months. Enough is enough.”
