In response to reports that Red Bull is interested in signing Lando Norris, McLaren CEO Zak Brown has stated that the F1 star is extremely content with his current situation.

Following a stellar 2023 for Norris and a challenging year for Sergio Perez, there was a lot of speculation that the constructors’ champions were targeting the 24-year-old.

When you consider that Norris and Max Verstappen are close friends, it appeared as though everything was setting up for a potential grid change.

However, Brown has now shot down any thoughts of Norris leaving the team, acknowledging that the McLaren star is a valuable member of the group and has no desire to leave for better opportunities at Red Bull.

Will Red Bull sign Lando Norris?
Regarding Red Bull’s alleged interest in Norris, Brown told the media, “I have a belief that whether its employees, drivers, or sponsors, it’s our job to take care of them and for them to want to be at McLaren.”

As a result, I usually concentrate on ensuring that McLaren is the best place to work and that people want to be here. Since you ultimately have no influence over how those different people are approached from the outside,.

Therefore, no, I have a lot of confidence in our relationship with Lando. I am aware of his high level of excitement for the upcoming year and his high level of admiration for the latter part of last year.

“He enjoys working with all of the team members, including Andrea [Stella].” Thus, all we have to do is continue providing him with the surroundings he desires.

“And after that, I have no doubt that he’ll stay rather than try to outsell the competitors. I’ve never been like that.
