The Sacramento Kings will play their second-to-last regular-season game against the Phoenix Suns amid a run of defeats.

Depending on how the Western Conference standings turn out this weekend, the Kings could have a contender for the Play-In tournament.
After losing four of their final five games of the season, Mike Brown’s team is now tied for eighth place in the standings with tenth place. The game on Friday night will really determine whether the Kings are prepared for postseason action.
Aside from a few injuries that could ruin the season, both teams appear to be at full strength, according to the injury report.

Phoenix Suns: Malik Monk, OUT (MCL Sprain) Sacramento Kings

OUT by Damion Lee (Meniscus)

When examining the opposition first, Damion Lee, a guard who has missed the entire season, is the lone player Phoenix will be missing. Due to a preseason operation, he will be out of commission for 2023–24.

The Kings will be without offensive-minded guards Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk. After the All-Star break, both players fell victim to the injury bug, which reduced Sacramento’s scoring output.
Kevin Huerter: OUT (Labrum Tear)
Guard Keon Ellis will continue to start in place of Kevin Huerter, and following a strong showing against the Pelicans on Thursday night, backup point guard Davion Mitchell should get some action in lieu of Malik Monk.

On Friday night, the Kings will try to win the second leg of a back-to-back series. The tip-off time is scheduled for 7:30 PM PT.
