The Denver Broncos have their dates for their rookie minicamp, OTAs, and mandatory minicamp for this offseason.

The NFL has announced offseason workout times for all clubs this week and for the Denver Broncos, we have their schedule for OTAs. The 2024 Broncos draft class and their UDFA signings will be wearing orange and blue for the first time on the practice field next week. With a first-round quarterback, there could be some small hype coming out of that minicamp.

Rookie Minicamp: May 10–12

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 21–23, May 28–30, and June 3-6

Mandatory Minicamp: June 11–13

I feel like I write these summer workout date posts several times a year, but it is what it is. We’ve got the 2024 schedule release coming in a few weeks, but after that, its going to be history posts and roster reviews for a full two months. We’ve got to get these minor updates out while we still have something newsworthy to talk!

As a reminder, the NFL OTA program and mandatory minicamp have several stages to follow. Those are written out below:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program, with events limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the training. On-field workouts may include individual or group instruction and drills, as well as “perfect play drills” and drills and plays with offensive players lining up across from offensive players and defensive players lining up across from defensive players, performed at a walk-through pace. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are allowed.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of training. Teams may perform a total of 10 days of organized team practice activities, or “OTAs.”. No live contact is allowed, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

The mandatory minicamp is limited to the final two weeks of phase three and is needed for all veteran players on the roster.
