After meeting on Tinder, the former Eagles Center married Kylie in Philadelphia on April 15, 2018, but their journey to the altar was anything but simple. On his and Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast in September 2023, Jason admitted to getting too drunk and falling asleep on the couple’s first date. However, Jason was confident that he had found the love of his life that night. “[I] definitely fell asleep,” Jason admitted during the show. “I became a little too wasted, but I was sober enough to realize she was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. They fell in love at first sight. Jason announced his resignation in a teary news appearance on March 4, thanking Kylie for her support and reminiscing their Tinder meet-cute. He also expressed gratitude to Philadelphia, where he, Kylie, and their three girls live. “It’s always been a dream of mine to play my entire career in one location. “I couldn’t have asked for a better one or a better fit,” he explained. “I don’t know what’s next, but I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities that await, and I know that I carry with me the lessons for my time here and that forever we shall all share the bond of being Philadelphians.”
