Paris Saint-Germain is not apparently planning to make a transfer attempt, so Marcus Rashford will not be leaving Manchester United.

WHAT HAPPENED?

It is reported that Ligue 1’s elite teams have been keeping an eye on the England international for a while now. As PSG gets ready to part ways with Kylian Mbappe, the World Cup winner is getting closer to free agency and a move to Real Madrid. Talk of a move to France has reappeared.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to The Sun, however, Rashford wants to remain put. He is bound to an Old Trafford contract worth £325,000 per week, which is scheduled to expire in 2028. Since there is currently no evidence of outside interest, the agreement won’t be broken.

Did you know?

According to a source cited by The Sun, “PSG have never been interested in signing Marcus.” The rumors about PSG were exploited to increase the conditions of Rashford’s most recent contract. They haven’t given it any thought at all, considering his difficulties both on and off the field this season. PSG will not be receiving him. In order to focus on rekindling his United career, he can profit from the rumors about a potential transfer being eliminated.

WHAT NEXT FOR RASHFORD?

Although Rashford scored a career-high 30 goals for United last season, which earned him a new contract, he has not produced the same level of play this year, which has fueled rumors. In 39 appearances across all competitions, he has only found the back of the net eight times.
