Is Tom Brady’s time in the NFL coming to an end? Perhaps, perhaps not.

On this week’s “DeepCut Podcast,” the former NFL quarterback was extremely open about his decision to retire. He does miss the grind of an NFL season a little bit, even though he is enjoying his time off from it.

Brady didn’t completely dismiss the idea when barber Vic Blends asked if he would take a call from an NFL team in the middle of the season. The 49ers were the first team to be mentioned.

In the interview, Tom Brady stated, “I’m not against it.” “I’m not sure if [the NFL] will allow me to acquire an NFL team. I’m going to be in excellent form and have the ability to throw the ball, so I’ll be here for a short while like Michael Jordan returning. I wouldn’t be against it, but I’m not sure whether they’ll let me.

The New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders were also mentioned by 46-year-old Tom Brady as potential teams to return to if the circumstances were appropriate. Since retraining following the 2022 season, the Michigan alum has not been involved in the NFL. Since then, he’s had opportunities to sign with a number of teams, including a visit from the 49ers in the 2023 offseason.

Brady, though, has remained in retirement and is exploring other business opportunities. This includes securing a huge contract to become Fox Sports’ chief commentator for the upcoming season after he retired last year. In addition to his involvement in ownership talks, Brady has expressed interest in joining the Raiders.

The gunslinging monster still seems to have the urge to return to the field, but only under the perfect conditions.
