Stefon Diggs, a Buffalo Bills wide receiver, recently spoke with a fan who questioned his value to quarterback Josh Allen’s success. This exchange was triggered by ESPN pundit and former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III’s claim that Diggs’ presence was critical to Allen’s efficiency, and that their relationship considerably increased the team’s championship chances.

However, not everyone agreed, requiring Diggs to address a dissident fan.

Diggs stressed the importance of his job alongside Allen, noting that the quarterback’s performance has increased significantly since their collaboration began in 2020. Allen has regularly produced remarkable statistics over the last four seasons, averaging 35 touchdowns and 4,518 passing yards per 17 games, with a completion percentage of 65.5% and an average of 7.4 yards per attempt.
Allen encountered difficulty in his early years, but he made significant progress in his third season, during which Diggs’ impact was obvious. Diggs led the league with 127 receptions and 1,535 yards, earning him All-Pro honors. Allen set career highs in touchdowns (37) and throwing yards (4,544), leading the Bills to the AFC Championship Game and earning the NFL MVP runner-up award.

Their connection grew stronger as they guided the Bills to four straight AFC East championships. Diggs routinely had great performances, with at least 103 catches, 1,183 yards, and eight touchdowns per season.

Allen and Diggs became one of the NFL’s best quarterback-wide receiver combinations, propelling the Bills into Super Bowl contention for four years in a row.

Their collaboration has obviously improved each other’s performances, benefiting the Bills as a whole.
