New information about the shocking accusation made against Christian Horner, the head of Red Bull Formula One, has surfaced.

The bombshell claims of “inappropriate behavior” are scheduled to have Red Bull Racing CEO Horner questioned by a lawyer on Saturday (AEDT).

The Austrian energy drink manufacturer Red Bull, which controls the team, announced earlier this week that an impartial inquiry into Horner had been started.

The British team, which last year helped Max Verstappen win his third successive world championship, was said to have received the accusation from another employee, according to the Dutch daily De Telegraaf.
The 50-year-old Horner, who has led the Red Bull team since 2005, vehemently disputes the charge.
The work of an outside professional barrister involves handling this process, which has already begun.

Red Bull said in a statement that was made public on Monday: “The company began an independent inquiry after learning of certain recent allegations.

“The organization takes these issues very seriously, and the inquiry will be finished as soon as it is viable to do so.

“More comments would not be appropriate at this time.”

Horner told De Telegraaf, in response to questions about the allegations, “I completely deny these claims.”

Although there has been conjecture and even presumption regarding the substance of the accusations, insiders have informed The Sun that Horner’s severe work regime is the main focus of the probe, not any sexual wrongdoing.

According to the F1 source, “Christian expressed his displeasure and expressed concerns about her behavior.”
“This crisis for the team was triggered by her subsequent complaint about his ‘controlling’ behavior.”

Since the passing of billionaire co-founder and Horner’s buddy Dietrich Mateschitz in 2022, Red Bull Racing has been plagued by rumors of a power struggle.

With Red Bull F1 director Helmut Marko, 80, Horner downplayed rumors of a falling out last year, calling it a “small difference of opinion.”

In support of her husband, Horner’s 51-year-old Spice Girl wife, Geri Halliwell, will be questioned at a meeting in the UK by an impartial attorney assigned to look into the woman’s reports.

It has been stated that Halliwell has informed friends that she doesn’t trust the rumors that have been circulating for several days.

Geri has been crying uncontrollably all weekend while taking care of her children, according to a person close to the Ginger Spice actress.

Christian has done nothing wrong, according to her insistence.

Working among 1,600 employees at the Austrian team’s headquarters in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, neither Horner nor his accuser have faced any suspension.

A further source disclosed to The Sun that although it’s an uncomfortable scenario, it’s unavoidable until the situation is cleared up and the issue is rectified.

The 2017 Formula One season begins in Bahrain at the end of the month, and Red Bull is rumored to want the problem resolved before the first race weekend.

Seven F1 world drivers’ championships and six world constructors’ championships have been won by Red Bull since Horner assumed the role of team principal in 2005.

Regarding the accusations made against Horner, James Vowles, the manager of Horner’s rival team at Williams, responded, “I think it means we all have to look each other in the mirror and make sure we are posing the right questions internally and acting in a way that we can only be proud of, not today but in the next 10 years.”

Red Bull pays Horner an estimated $15 million ($23 million) a year, and he was married to Halliwell in 2015. Horner has been training for the 2024 season.

Bahrain will host the race on March 2, but in the midst of the inquiry into him, Horner has allegedly been encouraged to resign from his job.

In an email to Mail Online, he labeled the claims as “nuts.”

He is being targeted for removal from the team in an internal power struggle, according to his defenders.
Verstappen achieved a record with ten straight wins as he easily won his third straight championship for Red Bull, which won 21 of the 22 races held last year.
