Although Randy Orton has referred to a single-on-one match between himself and John Cena at WrestleMania as his “dream match,” he isn’t sure it will ever happen for a number of reasons.

Although he and Cena have a long history together—including memorable matches on major promotion events like SummerSlam—the WWE star said to “The Bump” that he would want to “revisit” their conflict at ‘Mania. Naturally, Triple H would have a difficult time fitting everyone into one location given Cena’s hectic schedule in Hollywood.

Randy is aware of that, yet a guy can have dreams.

But Orton doesn’t want any rematch with John to be limited to a showdown between two icons. He stated on WWE’s program that he believes the audience would “eat it up too” if a world title were at stake. In the unlikely event that the production company could pull this one off, it would probably be billed as “Legend vs. Legend.”

Once more, Randy is merely speculating and enjoying himself while imagining what Orton vs. Cena would entail in 2024. Although he freely acknowledges that “I don’t know how you get there,” he believes it would be incredible to cross off a singles match against John at ‘Mania from his personal bucket list.
