Regardless of the circumstances, it is a truth that there are rumors circulating regarding his future with the squad.

That is a well-known fact that has been discussed by numerous pundits; it is not something that one person made up.

Fletcher Cox, a defensive tackle with the Eagles, however, was not interested in hearing that.

The defensive tackle became agitated when the reporter inquired about the rumors surrounding Sirianni’s future. He called the reporter a clown and claimed that since he was the team’s head coach, there shouldn’t even be a conversation about it (via NBC Sports Philadelphia and Dov Kleiman).

The reporter faced insults merely for carrying out their duties and politely posing a query.

He went on to clarify that there had been rumors about it and that he hadn’t made it up to get likes or anything.

In actuality, it is not unusual for a coach to be dismissed as a result of the team giving up on the field and losing six of seven games, including a playoff game.

A seasoned veteran like Cox should have known better, even if that weren’t the case. It would be interesting to hear what he has to say if Sirianni is fired at some point during the summer.
